GHOTKI: IG Sindh AD Khuwaja inaugurated reception and reporting center at Daharki police station here on Friday. On the occasion, DIG Sukkur Feroz Shah, SSP Ghotki Masood Bungush and SSP Sukkur Amjad Shaikh were present with IG Sindh. After inauguration, talking to journalists IG Sindh AD Khuwaja said that police should the ensure protection of people by any means, this reporting center will help police to perform better. He further said, the paramount aim of establishing reporting center is to facilitate people by selecting a public representative from the city who can redress the grievances of people. He directed SSP Ghotki to select a public representative on priority basis. Reporting center for honor killing and child abuse will be established soon to make police performance effective on such serious issues, while the duration of recording of CCTV cameras should be increased to 7 days from 24 hours to monitor activities of police station, he added. IG Sindh applauded success of Ghotki police over the arrest of 2481 outlaws during 8 months, IG Sindh headed to Raharki, a small town where a Pakistan’;s largest temple of Hindu community is located, he met with Hindu community and removed the safety concerns raised after killing of Sateesh Kumar.
