KARACHI: A fire broke out inside the basement of a residential building in Karachi on Friday, which was doused aft
er 23 hours of intense
efforts.
The fire erupted in a building in Nazimabad, Karachi, and was extinguished by f
irefighters after a lot of
efforts.
Over
ten firefighters participated in the operation.
Since the fire broke out in the basement of the building, f
irefighters said they had trouble extinguishing the fire due to lack of air passages.
There was no loss of
life, however.
After the process of cooling the authorities will estimate any material losses.
